SAP Gateway

In case of this specific error:

SAP.Middleware.Connector.RfcCommunicationException: Connection parameter GATEWAY_HOST missing.

Add the gateway hostname and gateway service to the Logical system connection attributes.

How to find the Gateway hostname and the Gateway service?

• Open the SAP logon form.
• Choose the SAP system to connect to.

• Give User and Password and make the connection.
• Go to transaction SMGW.

• Choose the Go to menu from the drop down menu.
• Choose Parameters > Display

• In the parameter list, find the values for Gateway hostname and Gateway service.
